Creek Fact Files

These Creek Fact Files offer a selection of information about the Oxley Creek Catchment, its history, ecology, environment and recreational facilities.
It relates to the stories in Catchment Tales, and is intended as a brief introduction to information available through other sources.

Catchments are areas of land which supply water to rivers and creek. They are bounded by higher ground: hills and mountains. Rain and other water which falls on the catchment finds its way into the wetlands, creeks and river systems and ultimately, in Brisbane, into the bay.
